By 7:00 on Friday morning, (February 21st), I was already packing both bots in the car and getting ready to leave for Harrisburg, PA for NERC's Motorama competition. I was up late the night before trying to finish Tier's weapon, but unfortunately I ruined the ball bearings while trying to hammer them onto the shaft, so Tier would be running weaponless for the competition. That's okay, though... at least the drive worked. Hooloovoo was working (barely) and had minimum testing after I realized that the motors drew too much current so the BEC didn't supply enough current to the Rx so I had to add a second battery pack.

We arrived in a parking lot at 10:00... right on time. Unfortunately, it was the wrong parking lot, and after asking a friendly parking attendant with very few teeth where to go, we finally ended up in the right parking lot. We parked and went inside with the bots and supplies. The good part is we parked close to the door so we didn't have to walk far to get inside. The bad part is the NERC arena was on the other side of the building. Normally this wouldn't be too bad, except for the fact that the Farm Show Complex is HUGE. After lugging our stuff all the way across the building, and asking for directions once or twice, we ended up in the pits.

They were pretty empty this early in the day, so we chose a table and set up the chargers.
